People always ask me if I write my jokes.
I do. But I don’t perform them that way.
I write them down so I know what not to say.
The material is a blueprint but the moment is what I live for.
I’ve been doing stand-up since 1999. I’ve played soldout theaters and dead ass bar shows with two people and a loud ass blender behind the bar.
Doesn’t matter where, I always show up the same.
I riff. I react. I throw out joke grenades and let the room explode. Then I bring it all back together like a conductor who grew up on Def Comedy Jam, Carol Burnett and Tupac.
You never know what you’re gonna get and that’s the point.
